I searched wide and far to find a solution to my problem – cruising in a sailing dinghy with my kids over multiple days with the need to charge a range of electronic devices. Some essential for safety and some for adding an element of fun to the trip. I have a medical device which receives data from an implant in my body and send the results to my phone via Bluetooth. Hence, a need to charge my phone daily, as well as being to report our safety and location each day. On longer cruises, the ability to charge a VHF radios. And for fun, GoPros, Video camera and camp lighting. I needed something flexible and relatively small to fit on a small 14′ dinghy.
This solar panel has provided the perfect solution, as it can be placed under shock-cord to keep it on deck and is waterproof.
